Job Description
The UNMC College of Pharmacy and Nebraska Medicine invite applications for a 12-month, tenure track faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. This position offers unique and exciting opportunities to advance the profession through innovative pharmacy administration/health outcomes scholarship, teaching, and service. The Department seeks a dynamic individual that has a passion for pharmacy and health outcomes, medication safety, pharmacoeconomics, comparative effectiveness research, health policy, rural health and/or health services research. The position requires strong understanding of the medication use process and the US health care system. It is expected that the successful applicant will establish an independent and extramurally supported research program. Teaching is expected and will include coordination and instruction of courses in the professional program and help the Department build a graduate program. The position will support the Profession, The College of Pharmacy, Nebraska Medicine, and Department through service to committees and professional organizations. The UNMC campus is located in Omaha.
