Job Description

The Division of Oncology/Hematology, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a strong component of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC), an NCI-designated clinical cancer center, seeks motivated academic hematologist/oncologist specializing in lymphoma and hematology malignancies. Responsibilities include provision of clinical care to address patient care needs in the areas of lymphoma and hematology malignancies, interdisciplinary research, design and implementation of clinical protocols and education of fellows, residents and medical students. Applicants must have an MD or DO (or equivalent) degree and be Board certified in internal medicine and Board certified/eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology. Candidate should have a focused interest in clinical care and clinical research for lymphoma and hematology malignancies, as successful candidate will help meet the needs of increasing patient volumes in the FPBCC, as well as participate in the multidisciplinary clinical care of patients and in the design and conduct of cancer clinical trials.
