Description
Streck is recruiting for a material inspection technician within our quality control department. This position is responsible for sampling, inspection/testing and quality control release of incoming and inventoried materials for use in production (raw materials, packaging materials and printed materials) and for the inspection of incoming purchased equipment and/or components. Also, this position is responsible for ensuring safe storage and identification of chemical retention samples; inspection/release of final product materials including finished product, assays, disks, labels, and packaging materials; and verification of critical product information such as lot number, expiration date, and bar codes.
Requirements include:
- Associates degree; quality control, quality assurance, or related experience can substitute
- Self-motivated, dependable, well organized, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
- Must hold excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and capable of performing dependable, accurate work
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted on occasion
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to perform general arithmetic
