Streck is recruiting for a Project Engineer in our Validation and Technology Transfer department. This position will be responsible for scale-up and transfer of clinical product realization processes from R&D into Manufacturing; for coordinating, executing and documenting process and equipment validations in accordance with FDA regulations; and for identifying and delivering on improvement opportunities to existing Manufacturing operations and technical workflow processes. The primary duties for this position include: learning and documenting new process characteristics alongside scientists in R&D; leading commercial process scale-up in Manufacturing areas through production of pilot lots and preparation of standard procedures and bill of materials; developing and executing protocols related to validation of new and existing production equipment; creating design specifications and managing projects involving capital equipment purchase; performing risk assessment and mitigation; and applying continuous improvement methods to realize product improvements in total delivered cost and quality.
