Streck is recruiting professional individuals for Product Manager opportunities within our Marketing division. These positions will be responsible for managing specific groups of products across Streck’s broad product portfolio, ranging from qPCR products, of pre-analytical sample collection and stability products, to chemistry, hematology or flow-cytometry related products.   The positions have full product marketing responsibilities and ownership to identify, develop, implement and drive marketing strategies and plans; conduct market research and competitive product analysis; own up-stream new product development and downstream go-to-market strategies and execution; and drive the commercialization and profit / loss margins of new products.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Own and maintain accountability for all aspects of product success over the product life cycle continuum to assure products meet Streck performance and quality standards.
  • Drive short and long-term vision and strategy for assigned products by defining marketing campaign objectives and strategy while collaborating with entire marketing team.
  • Conduct market analysis and research using multiple sources of information such as web, journal publications, case studies, focus groups, Voice of Customer (VOC) and other resources as appropriate to identify market, technology and regional trends.
  • Drive up-stream marketing efforts with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal stakeholders such as business development, research and development, sales and marketing and executive management to drive new product development.
  • Communicate product strategy to executive team and other stakeholders including go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, new product introduction and obsoleting plans.
  • Complete regular reporting of product sales performance, quality issues, customer satisfaction and other product information to Key Opinion Leaders and management.
  • Ensure product management documentation for all regulatory and quality assurance aspects is accurate, complete and timely.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, life-sciences (biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, immunology, hematology, chemistry, oncology or related life-science discipline is strongly preferred) or related field with marketing focus in product management, product planning and advertising.  An advanced degree like a master’s degree in business administration is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of product management of diagnostic instruments, laboratory products,  medical devices

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with other members of management, employees, industry leaders, and other Key Opinion Leaders.
