We are seeking candidates for internship and assistant level positions within multiple departments across our organization. We are in search for ambitious, enthusiastic, and talented individuals that will exemplify and complement our innovative culture.



Streck is seeking candidates for a research and development summer intern to work with our scientific professionals on biostatistical approaches, such as Design Of Experiments, for product enhancements and new product development. This position will primarily work within the scope of our new product development group. Primary responsibilities will include the design of statistically-driven experimental approaches to support expansion of the CF-DNA BCT and ARM-D kit product lines. This is an excellent opportunity to put your technical skills to work in an industry setting.


The primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop models for experimental design and derive expected results using statistic tools, such as Design of Experiments.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • May perform some wet bench chemistry associated with designed experimental methods.


Requirements include:

  • Junior or senior standing pursuing a degree in Biostatistics or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Pursuing a graduate degree in one of the above fields is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and write technical reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with MiniTab, MATLAB, R, or like software.
  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practice
  • Experience with basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting and solution preparation
  • Experience with multiple biochemical and molecular biologic methods/techniques is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Well- organized with demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
