Summary of what you’ll be responsible for:

SilverStone Group is looking for an outstanding individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our Commercial Lines team as an Account Manager. You will service new and existing accounts by marketing insurance coverages to enhance existing programs and focus on customer service.

You should have at least three years of experience working with large commercial lines and working toward or have received a designation (or two!)

The details of what you’ll handle:

  • Servicing new and existing accounts by marketing insurance coverages to enhance existing program, with extensive review of coverage placement.
  • Performing service initiatives in conjunction with producer by following internal procedures to enhance customer experience.
  • Advocating for client through marketing process by following up on expirations with producers and underwriters to renew and obtain best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Obtaining quotes from carriers for new and existing business.
  • Maintaining positive relationship with carriers to assure accurate and timely response.
  • Remaining technically competent on insurance coverages and options that are offered by the insurance companies. This includes working towards additional insurance designations and maintaining current designations.
  • Continuing to broaden knowledge of the industry with continuing education, learning markets and accessing new ones when necessary for growing a book of business.

If you’re the right person for this opportunity, you will have: 

  • At least three years of experience in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in the large Commercial Lines industry is a plus.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain state property and casualty insurance license required.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain approved accredited program designation required.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
