Account Administrator to join our growing Personal Lines team!

SilverStone Group is looking for an outstanding individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our Personal Lines team as an Account Administrator. This individual will service new and existing accounts by marketing insurance coverages to enhance existing programs and focus on customer service.

The preferred candidate would have at least one year of experience working with personal lines. If you are adaptable, detail oriented, and customer service focused, this opportunity could be the next step in your career.

Highlight of what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Service new and existing accounts by marketing insurance coverages to enhance existing program, with extensive review of coverage placement.
  • Perform service initiatives in conjunction with producer by following internal procedures to enhance customer experience.
  • Advocate for client through marketing process by following up on expirations with producers and underwriters to renew and obtain best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Obtain quotes from carriers for new and existing business.
  • Advocate on behalf of the client throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain positive relationship with carriers to assure accurate and timely response.
  • Remain technically competent on insurance coverages and options that are offered by the insurance companies. This includes working towards additional insurance designations and maintaining current designations.
  • Continue to broaden knowledge of the industry with continuing education, learning markets and accessing new ones when necessary for growing a book of business.

If you’re the right person for this opportunity, you will have: 

  • At least one year of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Personal Lines industry is a real plus.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain state property and casualty insurance license required.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain approved accredited program designation required.

Education

  • At least one years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
