Physicians Mutual is seeking an adaptable and organized Regional Administrative Coordinator to support our network of busy division sales offices.  This key player will be vital to the success of our agents, agent support department, and company by being a flexible and resourceful professional who can thrive in a fast-moving environment.  In this role, you would provide remote support to division sales offices and agents as well as track new business through a detailed process to ensure policies are issued and returned to agents quickly.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing training on recruiting, licensing, lead administration, quoting, application requirements, new business entry, scanning, and policy delivery
  • Liaising with other departments such as IT, business analysis teams, underwriting, etc.
  • Monitoring field office personnel time records, taking corrective action and approving hours worked for payroll
  • Assisting the manager in various duties including performance evaluations and personnel conflict resolution 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience required
  • Four years of office administrative experience required
  • Two years of insurance related-experienced preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and smoothly transition between tasks while remaining organized and efficient
  • Strong communication and human relation skills to resolve personnel conflict
  • Knowledge of interviewing guidelines, hiring, EEO and labor relations laws, and guidelines
  • Knowledge of accounting & bookkeeping practices
  • Working knowledge of Agency, Underwriting, Accounting, Human Resource and Claims Departments' procedures and general knowledge of company products
  • Knowledge of policy language, coverage and benefits for the policies we sell
  • Ability to provide work direction and evaluate performance of peers
  • Working knowledge of training guidelines and ability to effectively train division office personnel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
