Description

POSTING TITLE: Secretary 4/Treasurer

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous office experience

• Five (5) years of prior bookkeeping experience required

• Knowledge of District accounting procedures and software preferred

• Proficient record keeping skills

• Proficient keyboarding skills

• Knowledge of computer usage and related software required

• Knowledge of office equipment

• Knowledge of Infinite Campus, PeopleSoft payroll, requisition requests, Frontline Absence Management and other various District software systems

• Willingness to take initiative and work independently

• Ability to communicate with all students, staff and various publics with tact, courtesy and sensitivity

• Demonstrates professionalism

• Excellent communication skills oral and written

• Good organizational skills

• Proficient typing abilities

• Excellent attendance record and prior work record

• Ability to collect, alphabetize and file

• Ability to maintain records accurately

• Proper grammar and English usage

• Excellent human relations skills, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

• Ability to take accurate messages

• Good proofreading skills

• Ability to multi-task

OTHER INFORMATION

Reports to: Building Principal

Work Schedule: 260 days, 12-month

Hours to Work: 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday

Salary Schedule: 32I, $14.87 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs all treasurer responsibilities for buildings, including all monthly financial reports

• Coordinates and completes daily school supplies and annual order requisitions

• Maintains and monitors students fines

• Assists other office staff as needed

• Directs and monitors school fundraising efforts

• Orders and monitors all school supplies

• Supports the Substitute Calling Program to find coverage for absent teachers

• Uses intra-school communication systems including intercom system, various alarms, paging, etc. as required

• Maintains and coordinates Principals calendar, including the confirmation and scheduling of appointments and meetings

• Performs other duties as assigned
