Responsibilities

 

The Human Resources Systems Analyst will plan, organize, test and implement new or modified human resource information system processes, updates, and enhancements to meet changing business and regulatory requirements; supports all upgrades including future modules, proactively identifies solutions, and leads human resource process automation efforts.  The HRIS Analyst position provides a high level of customer service to the business.

  • Develops, tests, and implements new and/or modified human resource system processes, updates, and enhancements to meet changing business and regulatory requirements:
    • Supports implementation of future system modules.
    • Proactively identifies solutions for human resource information system process issues and to gain process efficiencies.
    • Monitors and helps resolve functional/technical issues that need to escalate to technology staff for resolution.
    • Participates in the evaluation and selection of third party software and support vendors that enhances functionality and optimizes response time.
  • Leads human resource information system automation efforts for business processes within the assigned area, including source inputs to ensure data integrity:
    • Delivers continuous process improvement for human resource department processes, focusing on employee experience and business unit efficiency.
    • Establishes business requirements and standards for source data inputs across the business unit to ensure data integrity.
    • Maintains data integrity in the systems data bases by running queries and analyzing outputs.
  • Assists with upgrades for business unit's functional areas:
    • Evaluates and recommends human resource information system and data setup, design and functionality as business needs and system functionality evolves.
    • Provides on-going problem solving solutions for the business by optimizing system functionality and applying continuous process improvement.
    • Develops and provides training, as needed, for both new and current users of business unit systems.

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Associate degree in a Technology discipline or equivalent business experience required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in HR processes, practices and policies, including but not limited to benefits, compensation recruiting, labor relations, and organizational development.
  • High level of confidentiality required.

Desired:

  • PeopleSoft HRIS experience preferred.
  • HR certification.
