Department: Distribution Engineering

Work Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm, M-F
As part of the Distribution Engineering Department, the co-op will have the opportunity to complete assignments that provide an in-depth understanding of distribution design practices, data analysis and equipment life-cycle management..
The co-op will be exposed to engineering design and analysis, work order development, material procurement, construction practices, maintenance, regulations, codes and other aspects of designing and maintaining utility distribution systems.
Specific activities may include preparation of engineering drawings and documents, development of cost estimates, analysis of pole attachment requests, review and update of distribution design and construction standards, field data collection and other related duties as assigned by the manager or engineers.
Candidates must display the ability to think logically, communicate a clear understanding of the subject matter and offer informed suggestions to improve processes.
Specific fields of study required: Electrical Engineering
2.5 GPA or higher required
Junior Status or Higher
Current full-time student attending an accredited college/university
