Job Summary:

Supports the Sr. Manager Channel Management and website merchants in the execution of the website merchandising, promotion and message plan. Responsible for maximizing contribution per quest interaction, visit conversion, average ticket and gross margin.

Major Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Supports the implementation of an optimized website merchandising, promotion and message plan for the website ensuring all deadlines are met, site is always accurate and in alignment with the overall marketing calendar. Performs daily and monthly tasks including quality assurance for items in production and the Omaha Steaks app. Makes revisions when necessary and approves completed items. 
  • Assists with managing creation of creative assets, monitors production schedules and timelines.  Ensures project deadlines are met, escalating issues as needed; monitors process, suggests and implements changes to improve process efficiencies.
  • Assists with SmartSheet updates and reviews with manager before deadline.  
  • Communicates website marketing updates to management and the sales and marketing teams. 
  • Adept with web and business analytics tools, and speaking to reporting outcomes. Adobe Analytics experience a plus.
  • Other duties as requested in support of business initiatives including but not limited to SEO, marketplaces and content deployment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent in Merchandising, Sales or Marketing
  • 1-2 years experience in consumer direct marketing
  • Website Marketing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Experience in Adobe Analytics required(or similar online reporting application)
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient planning and organizational skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
