Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for both operating and supporting all automated processing equipment. This would also include quality control duties, preparing and moving finished product to packaging lines.
Removes meat from shipping cartons. Weighs, records and distributes product to meat cutters as needed. Records weight of raw material/finished production and individual cutter on master list to monitor product yields.
Operates support machinery and processes product to include tenderizing, skinning, operating meat presses, operating injector equipment, making beef kabobs, and boxing trimmings.
Keep production floor clear of any excess fat or trim and perform minor sanitation duties.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift certification; pallet jack
Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Attention to detail and accuracy required in all aspects of the job.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal directions accurately.
No specific training or experience required.
Days and Hours:
Full-time Days. Work 40 hours per week. Schedules start as early as 7:00 a.m. and end as late at 3:30 p.m. Hours are based on business needs.
