Job Summary

  • Ships and receives supplies stored at the I Street dry goods warehouse. Fulfills weekly orders and special requests for Omaha Steaks retail stores.

Essential Job Duties

  • Ships, receives and monitors supplies and inventory at the Dry Good Warehouse. Fulfills dry goods orders and special requests for stores. Completes and prints stores Bill of Ladings on Quantel. Communicates with HR, Retail, Inventory Control, MDC and MIS and others as it relates to dry goods orders and delivery.
  • Takes weekly inventory of dry goods and store supplies. Performs accurate and timely counts and updates all necessary spreadsheets used by retail.
  • Responsible for shipping all dry goods inventory, displays and signage for new stores. Responsible for setup and assigning sku number to new lines of store supplies. Ships to stores items such as tiles, freezer doors etc.. when requested and, supplies of toners and drums for copiers. Coordinates the delivery of boxes, paper, product and other items to Corporate Offices, Distribution Centers, I Street Storage Facility and Production Facilities.
  • Performs various tasks to support production requirements, including but not limited to building boxes by hand and shipping.
  • Coordinates the movement of the I Street stores fulfillment process and inventory to the East Distribution Center in May and the move back to I Street in September.
  • Acts as a backup to Dry Goods Supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to loading and unloading trailers, inventory of dry goods and monitoring inventory levels.

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in warehouse environment
  • Forklift certified and Power Jack certified
  • Must be well organized with a high attention to detail.
  • Must maintain a high concentration level when performing repetitive duties.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and proficient PC skills.

  • Full-time Days M-F 7:00am until 3:30pm
