We have immediate openings for the Client Services Specialist position to join a new Client Services team in Denver, Colorado.  These are full-time, professional level positions with multiple regular schedules available following the on-the-job training period.  The majority of the training will take place in Omaha, Nebraska. 

 

The successful candidate will be trained to assist agents, business partners, and insureds with diverse needs, including billing inquiries, payment processing, basic technical support, and claim status questions. Applicants must be goal driven, like problem solving, have math and technical aptitude, learn quickly and be able to work well under time constraints.

 

Responsibilities of this position include:

 

Billing

  • Understanding the billing processes for various lines of commercial insurance, including payment plans, installment calculations, endorsement impacts, etc.
  • Processing one-time payments and/or enrolling insureds in automatic recurring payment plans.
  • Multi-tasking by completing billing inquiries from agents, business partners, and insureds through phone calls, workflow transactions, and e-mail.

Technical Support

  • Providing first level customer technical support for agents and insureds on software applications, including assistance in accessing the software and helping with basic usage of the same.

Claim Support

  • Provides excellent level one customer service to agents, insureds, claimants, and others for claim reporting and inquiries. Takes claim information from the caller, gathering information relating to the details of a new claim. Provides fact-specific answers for level one inquiries to callers as permitted by Company guidelines.
  • Contact insureds to gather additional loss details as requested by the claim examiner.
  • Multi-tasking by completing claim status inquiries, new loss reports, vehicle identification requests, and endorsement research from agents, insureds, claimants, and others through phone calls, workflow transactions, and e-mail.

Excellent Communication

  • Providing excellent customer service in both verbal and written communication with agents, business partners, and insureds.
  • Accurately documenting verbal and written interactions related to commercial insurance policies.
  • Communicating with agents and/or internal departments to resolve insured requests and questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent
  • Willing to spend time training in Omaha, Nebraska
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Personal computer and related spreadsheet and data manipulation software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization, agents and insureds.
  • Organize time and resources and handle multiple high priorities
  • Work with detail with accuracy

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • Basic insurance terms and coverages
  • Knowledge of commercial automobile rating and policy coverages and endorsements
