We have an immediate opening for an HRIS Analyst responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This individual will serve as the primary point-of-contact for the system, provide routine system configuration, assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, test system changes, perform report writing, and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.

 

Job duties include:

  • Developing, designing, building, performing testing, maintaining, upgrading and enhancing HRIS data, codes, workflows and security within the HRIS and understanding, interpreting and converting business processes into routine workflows and system configurations.        
  • Monitoring data integrity within the HRIS and the incoming/outgoing files, assisting in developing system procedures and guidelines and analyzing, identifying and recommending system and process improvements.
  • Working with others to develop standard metrics, dashboards and reports for all levels of the organization.
  • Assisting with preparation and go live implementation of the HRIS including user acceptance testing to ensure that HR systems meet the outlined requirements, assisting in the review, testing and implementation of scheduled HRIS releases and other system releases or patches, and helping identify and evaluate future system enhancements or functionality that may be beneficial to the organization and recommending to management schedules for enhancements.
  • Performing ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity, maintaining HRIS system integrations, developing minor integrations on an ongoing basis, importing/exporting electronic data transfers with external vendors and auditing and reconciling the imported/exported data. 
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in computer engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field or equivalent
  • 2-3 years related work experience
  • Database architecture and administration
  • Software implementation and development
  • Mathematical and statistical analysis
  • Computer programming
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Work with detail with accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization including effective presentation of facts, solutions and recommendations
  • Excellent organization, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Project management skills

 

Preferred Knowledge:

  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of HRIS functional areas
  • Programming languages such as Microsoft Visual Basic, C# or ASP
  • Human Resource laws and practices
