Nebraska Medicine is hiring an innovative events coordinator to support its promise of Serious Medicine Extraordinary Care.
You will work with our physicians, staff and leadership team to create, plan and deliver in-person and hybrid events focused on community outreach, staff engagement and health education. We are looking for a great communicator with a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience planning events, building marketing & communications plans, or other relevant skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are a must, along with the capability to excel in handling projects independently or as part of a team. Experience in health care and/or community education and engagement is a plus.

This Events Coordinator will plan and execute internal and public events supporting Nebraska Medicine's mission and values with a focus on patient referrals, employee engagement and health education. Collaborate with teams in Marketing, Community & Patient Engagement, and Diversity and Inclusion to positively impact Nebraska Medicine's patients, staff and standing in the community. Scope, plan, allocate resources and execute events within established parameters such as budget, timeline, creative brief, and brand standards. Confidently interact with physician and administrative leaders as well as external vendors and freelancers and others as needed. Use project management system to update project status and ensure successful customer service.
