EEG Assistant - Full or Part Time

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a talented individual to join us as an EEG Assistant! This position will be based at our main campus in Omaha, NE.

Position Highlights:

Our Comprehensive Epilepsy Program is a nationally recognized epilepsy practice that provides some of the most advanced therapies available in Nebraska and the surrounding areas. We are a designated Level-4 epilepsy center, providing the best care for our patients!

EEG Assistant Shift Details:

  • Full or Part time positions available, preference will be discussed in the interview

  • Third Shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am

  • Working variable days Monday - Sunday

The EEG assistant provides support to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) of the EEG department. and provides direct observation of patients undergoing EEG video recording for continuous electrophysiology of the brain.

EEG Assistant Required Qualifications:

* High school education or equivalent required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of transfer or hire required.

EEG Assistant Preferred Qualifications:

* Six months work experience in a health care environment preferred.
* Hospital patient monitoring experience preferred.
* Graduate of a certified nursing associate program preferred.
* Experience with nursing call system preferred
