Position Highlights:

The Orthopaedic Clinic is an exciting, rapidly growing department within Nebraska Medicine. Currently, there are three locations that offer access and extraordinary care to our patients. Our department is a fast-paced, patient-centered specialty with unmatched expertise to diagnose and treat common and complex problems, with surgery being a last resort.

This Medical Assistant position would primarily be working in our Lauritzen Orthopaedic Clinic and our Oakview Orthopaedic Clinic. You will have the opportunity to perform at the top of your scope and provide support to one of our highest rated Orthopaedic surgeons, Dr. Beau J. Kildow. Beau J Kildow, MD | Nebraska Medicine Omaha, NE

Our department truly has become pioneers in ushering in the latest Orthopaedic treatments and procedures. This means, as a Medical Assistant, you will have access and the opportunity to learn about the newest and most cutting-edge treatment options for your patients.

Why should you choose to apply for this position? The best care starts with seeing the best team. Our team is the most comprehensive Orthopaedics team in the region. Within Dr. Kildow's team, you would be closely partnering with his Care Coordinator RN, Kayla Mace.

"On our team, we like to laugh and keep the mood light to make the patients and other staff feel comfortable. This also helps to promote a healthy work environment. However, our cheerful moods are countered with a very serious desire to provide the best possible care from the time a patient calls to make an appointment, until they decide they no longer need joint therapies. A good candidate for our group needs to have a great attitude, be dependable, enjoy interacting with several patients and staff daily, be organized, and adaptable. Both Dr. Kildow and I take our roles at Nebraska Medicine very serious, but we do so in a lighthearted and joyful way. This promotes and encourages a sound medium for staff to grow and flourish in their role. We look forward to the opportunity to meet with candidates interested in joining our team." Kayla Mace, MSN RN
