This role works together with marketing teams and business partners to identify and prioritize strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes and support digital marketing campaign objectives.

As product owner of one or more agile development teams this position is directly responsible for managing the development of new digital commerce experiences for existing or emerging products and sales distributions.


  • Serves as product owner for internal or external agile development teams. Defines requirements, manages end-to-end execution, and delivers solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Works with user experience designers and developers to design digital experiences that carefully balance user experience, business objectives and legal, compliance and privacy guidelines.
  • Utilizes web analytics tools, financial reporting and collaboration with marketing and business teams to monitor performance of online sales funnels and recommend and prioritize solutions that improve business outcomes.
  • Monitors and tracks the performance of solutions and reports back to development and marketing teams. Shares progress toward shared goals and objectives with business partners and other leaders.
  • Contributes to Mutual of Omaha's short- and long-term digital strategy in a manner that aligns with overall SBU/Operation goals.
  • Works with management team members in providing coaching, feedback and development to team members. May have responsibility for directly leading a team of individual contributors.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or computer science required
  • Experience working on agile/scrum development teams
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative/consultative approach with an ability to lead through influencing others
  • Experience with web analytics and/or digital marketing technology platforms


  • Proficiency with Google Marketing Platform (Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Optimize)
  • Experience with digital marketing execution or management
  • Experience in web development and/or design a plus
  • Experience in insurance industry a plus
