Job Summary:
Supervise a team of licensed mental health therapists, provide oversite of Provisionally licensed employees and assist in the planning and coordination of the Program's professional services. Must be a LIMHP or LICSW with independent transportation in order to supervise various locations.Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
Maintain professional working relationships with all pertinent Omaha Public Schools (OPS) and community/church-based Community Counseling Program representatives.
Plan, coordinate and ensure effective delivery of Program's counseling services in accordance with the Program's mission, contractual/funding and budget obligations.
Develop and maintain OPS and community/church sites for the provision of the Program's counseling and education services.
Conduct or participate in meetings with OPS and community/church site representatives to deliver activity information and obtain, assess and respond to their feedback on services.
Hire, orient/train and supervise the staff allocated by Methodist Hospital Foundation (MHF) funding to provide the Program's counseling and education services.
Conduct supervision meetings as necessary to provide operations, clinical and personnel supervision.
Ensure services are in compliance with Nebraska Methodist Health System (NMHS), MHF, Best Care Employee Assistance Program (BCEAP) and Program policies and procedures.
Attend the MHF, OPS or community/church meetings that are related to, or support, the mission of the Program as assigned.
Under the direction of the BCEAP Director, and in collaboration with the other Program supervisor, fulfill the essential job functions of the Program Manager during absences of the Manager.
Maintain State of Nebraska mental health practitioner license.
Perform other duties as assigned, which includes providing counseling services and educational classes at school or community/church sites as needed.
