Matches digital images to Radiology Information System (RIS) orders, for viewing in Picture Archival Communication System (PACS).
Starts and completes exams performed.
Consistently uses Exam Management.
Document Medications and Allergies.
Consistently uses Powerscribe.
Quality & Safety-QA.
Assists in maintaining appropriate par levels of supplies and communicates to appropriate ordering personnel.
Patient identification accurately verified.
Properly identify anatomical orientation on all films. Clean and disinfect equipment at the conclusion of each case.

Maintains positive and respectful relationship with team members.
Understands and supports the direction and workflow of the department.
Available at the start of scheduled shift and appropriately manages completion of shift.

Essential Function Skills
Aware of and able to follow all departmental policies.
Correctly identifies patients by using at least two identifiers.
Accurately explains all procedures to patients/family members.
Aware of Contrast Reaction protocol, and other contrast related protocols.
Exhibits competency in use of all equipment.
Performs QC on equipment as needed, aware of how to call for service, and communicates problems/errors to proper personnel.
Assists with procedures that require sterile technique.
Performs medication administration and documents in EMR.
Able to verbalize appropriate technique for O2 Tank exchange, tubing/wall connection, and regulator reading.
Aware of emergency and evacuation policies on the MHS Intranet.
Correctly utilizes the Cerner/RIS system for proper documentation, image matching, and billing.
Able to find needed supplies for room stocking.
Transmits images to appropriate network location (ex: PACS, AW, DynaCad, etc.).
Demonstrates and practices the principles of "Image Wisely/Image Gently".
Ability to perform all CT procedures.
Aware of and able to follow all CT imaging protocols.
Operates injector equipment for administering contrast.
