The Marketing Strategist/Writer creates, plans and executes data and content driven marketing and advertising campaigns to engage prospective students. Distills complex subjects related to healthcare and education into a format that's relatable and encourages further student interaction with the college.
The position will primarily consist of writing and distributing content across a wide variety of mediums, including email communications, press releases, traditional media, website updates, social media, internal channels and more.
The role also has a large public relations component sending communications to local and national media outlets, acting in many cases as the voice of Nebraska Methodist College.
This position requires exceptional writing, grammar and editing skills as well as the ability to adjust tone and voice to suit multiple audiences and platforms. Knowledge of social media, landing pages, public relations, SEO, SEM, Hubspot. Knowledge of "inbound marketing" and "inbound methodology".
