Radiation Alpha, Beta and Gamma (particles such as X-ray, Cat Scan, Gamma Knife, etc)
Radiation Non-Ionizing (Ultraviolet, visible light, infrared and microwaves that causes injuries to tissue or thermal or photochemical means)
Chemical agents (Toxic, Corrosive, Flammable, Latex)
Mechanical moving parts/vibrations
Essential Job Functions
- Promotes a positive learning environment within the classroom setting and encourage maximum student participation.
Establishes positive rapport with students and employees.
Utilizes and follows the curriculum and resources provided.
Able to teach evening and weekends, daytime schedules are also available.
Responsible for the maintenance of equipment to ensure in proper working condition.
Records and forwards daily attendance and testing materials to the Program Specialist.
Ensure classrooms and supplies are orderly.
Be willing to become a state tester.
Answer phones, triage calls and field questions as needed.
Participate in team meetings.
Copy and scan program materials.
Cross train to Medication Aide program.
Assist with skills sign off and ensure students are competent in each area.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Director of Professional Education.
