Architectural Design Technology Instructor

The Architectural Design Program is seeking positive, dynamic, student-centered individuals to teach a diverse community of learners the desired skills for today’s workplace. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Teach with excellence a full range of architectural design coursework with an emphasis on Building Information Modelling (BIM) management and Revit drafting. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, industry certifications, advisory council and other industry partnership activities, projects, and other department or College activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8 years of FT related occupational experience

OR

approved Journey-worker status

OR

4 years FT related occupational experience PLUS Associate’s degree in career field

OR
2 years FT related occupational experience PLUS Bachelor’s degree in discipline or related discipline.

PREFERRED:

3 years of experience with BIM drafting or management.
Experience teaching in a community college setting.

Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities.
