Job Description

The Opportunity Youth (OY) Liaison is responsible for connecting youth and young adults to education and employment support resources and services in the community. Engage businesses to assist them with recruiting talent among opportunity youth and will gather feedback from businesses on training needs that will make OY more employable. Ensure OY are connected to the appropriate service provider in order to meet their individual needs. They will compose an employment and/or education plan for each OY, assisting with both short and long term employment and education options.  Maintain consistent communication with service providers to assure the needs of OY are being met. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field plus three years of full time related occupational experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. A valid driver’s license and insurability to drive College vehicles is required.  This position is special funded until 06/30/2020, renewable up to three years.  Hiring process includes a background check. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
