Assist with grounds maintenance duties to include but not limited to mowing, trimming turf areas, litter pickup, weeding, irrigation repair, watering, snow removal, and other grounds related duties. Perform landscaping duties including planting, installing and repairing retaining walls and edging. Inspect and maintain tools, equipment and sprinkler system.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma plus one year of full-time experience performing grounds maintenance required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. EPA certification preferred. A valid driver’s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. during growing season and 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. during the winter months. A work sample test is required as part of the interview process. This position is designated essential and may be called in for emergencies. Hiring process includes a background check.
