Responsible for teaching a range of Reading courses to diverse adult learners. The Social Sciences department is seeking positive, dynamic, student-centered individuals to participate in its learning community. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success and the use of classroom assessment to improve teaching and learning.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Reading or a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in reading required. Higher education/community college teaching experience is preferred. May involve travel to other campuses for various daytime classes. Hiring process includes a background check. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
