The Detailed Plant Scheduler is responsible for developing a systematic daily production schedule in Oracle EBS to fulfill product demand for the assigned products and manufacturing lines/cells.  The scheduler develops a detailed production schedule at the daily/shift level aligned with the short-term plan received from the Supply Network Planning team and manages customer order demand in line with capacities and production schedule dates. The plan aims to optimize production efficiency whilst considering all related resources and constraints such as changeover times, sequencing, raw materials availability, and optimal batch sizes.

The plant scheduler monitors schedule adherence and proactively adapts the plan to mitigate risks in collaboration with planners, manufacturing supervisors, buyers, warehouse & logistics, quality and resource constraints as necessary.

The plant scheduler helps establish root causes and resolutions in collaboration with stakeholders.  A significant element of the role is to proactively schedule and reschedule products across multiple constraints and dependencies within a short timeframe whilst maintaining plant efficiencies and respecting material availability.
