POSITION SUMMARY

Daily administration of human resources activities and general human resource administrative support for Omaha facilities. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lives Lozier’s Core Values in support of the business.
  • Supports various human resources activities and events such as job fairs, HR meetings, open house, community events, and travel arrangements.
  • Assists with NEO preparation and coordination
  • Assists with the performance evaluation process
  • Provide assistance to applicants in completing the application process
  • Assists in completion and/or audit of the I-9/e-Verify process
  • Creates and maintains Human Resource files, including filing all paper documents.
  • Prepare new hire information:  badges, files, name plates, Company Kitchen cards.
  • Process employee garnishments.
  • Run termination report and close out employee files.
  • Assist distribution of corporate email communications and posts to electronic bulletin boards.
  • Assist with Corporate distributions.
  • Completes HRIS transactions such as personal and assignment records changes.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an administrative assistant, office manager or clerical assistant. HR experience preferred. 

Required Skills:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of Human Resources information
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate organizational skills
  • Intermediate time management skills
