This is a paid year-round internship opportunity located in the Lozier corporate office. Flexible scheduling allows you to work part-time during the semester and full-time over the summer. Plus, eligible for educational assistance and paid time off.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production and Inventory Planning (PIP) Intern is responsible for assisting with the gathering, analyzing and distribution of accurate and timely data and reports for various operational areas within the Production and Inventory Planning and Production and Inventory Control departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare daily reports on service levels, capacity, shipments, inventory, work orders, pallets, interplants, order codes, imports, shortages, UPI's and plan by part.
  • Prepare various weekly reports on service levels and inventory.
  • Prepare various monthly reports on service levels, inventory, shipping history and product lines.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College student of at least sophomore standing (Business major or related field preferred).
Experience: None
Required Skills:
  • Intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word)
  • Time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Basic analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
