POSITION SUMMARY

As a part of our Account Services team, this individual supports the customer from order entry through production and order delivery to ensure customer satisfaction with Lozier product. May serve as the direct contact with the customer or sales in resolving problems or areas of conflict. Individuals must be able to balance multiple projects and provide customers with guidance and direction in resolving problems on special accounts, and will coordinate the internal support activities to assure customer satisfaction with Lozier performance.  Ensures that all appropriate areas of the company are informed of all customer activity.  This position is self-managed with minimal direction, working directly with all levels of the organization both internally and with the customer.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for all aspects of order management from start to finish and will communicate on a daily basis with the following cross-functional teams: Traffic, Accounting, Category Management, Sales, Production and EDI team.
  • Provide dedicated order management and supply chain/logistics expertise to strengthen relationships with accounts, drive efficiencies, and improve overall business results.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of products according to customer needs and objectives
  • Create troubleshooting tools and procedures to collect and review information needed to proactively manage an account or ongoing activities within it.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status and in-depth product knowledge and application requests.
  • Provide inventory management and analysis of customer inventory programs according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Approve and process adjustments and Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs) according to established policies and procedures.  Take ownership in resolving invoicing and purchase order issues.
  • Identify, communicate and independently resolve customer needs for credit, pricing, freight and delivery, invoicing, shipping, installation, special reports, or other administrative procedures.
  • Create and maintain key customer related master data.
  • Create routine customer specific requirements, reports, logs, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Manage customer projects and orders for assigned accounts to meet specific customer requests, facilitate schedules with production and shipping and anticipates issues and addresses proactively.
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  • Ability to work and interact well with others
 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Train newly assigned employees or others as needed.

  • Provide back-up service coverage for other accounts/territories as needed.

  • May informally present information or facilitate a meeting.

  • May be required to use TLC for basic quotes and pricing as needed.

  • May execute export documentation requirements for shipments origination in the US to destinations globally, which includes Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin, and Packing List.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:     Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent qualifying experience

 

Experience:    Minimum of 2 years customer service, sales support or marketing experience if non-degreed

  • Accuracy / Attention to detail
  • Builds customer loyalty and confidence / Ability to problem-solve
  • Bilingual skills (required for certain sales territories only).
