Position Summary
Individuals are responsible for operating laser machines. The process includes downloading programs, loading materials, shaking out finished product, organizing schedules and making necessary adjustments. May require the use of a forklift.   Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn for these positions.  Essential functions of these jobs may include frequent standing, walking, lifting and handling of product/materials, reaching, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion.
 
Required Skills: 
  • Responsible for complete knowledge and understanding of developing programs, loading programs, and modifying programs on computers involved in the operation of highly technical equipment. 
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance is required. 
  • Perform all operations required to fabricate and construct a diversified line of products to specifications by using drawings or prints. 
  • Responsible for quality of the product and safe operation. 
Experience: Prior machine operation experience is preferred.
 
This position requires reasonable and reliable attendance; good communication skills, and the ability to work well independently, as well as with a team.
