    Position Summary

    Are you a problem solver and like to take initiative? As a Corporate Safety Administrator you will work closely with the Corporate Safety Analyst ensuring our employees are meeting the required safety reporting standards set by the organization. This position resides in an office environment and will work on a variety of tasks including gathering and analyzing data, running reports, reviewing incidents and working closely with employees all across the company.

    Location: 
    This position is based out of our Kiewit Plaza at Kiewit Plaza 3555 Farnam St. Omaha, NE 68131.  This is a corporate office in a professional office setting.

    Responsibilities: 

  •     Assist the Corporate Safety Analyst with gathering data, reports, training, memorandums, proposals and filing.
  •     Gather injury, incident and man-hour data for company reporting and evaluating. 
  •     Analyze all data looking for trends and key indicators for future incidents. 
  •     Run specific, custom detailed reports. 
  •     Provide customized safety data for proposals submission. 
  •     Coordinate with data analysis department in company on special cross discipline studies.
  •     Train users, administrators and trainers on the use of the system(s). 
  •     Evaluate individual users competency with system and allows access based on evaluation. 
  •     Review individual incidents for completeness and accuracy and follow up with District personnel on incomplete/incorrect data. 
  •     Prepare reports, meeting notes, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence
  •     Perform tests on our operating system enhancements to ensure they are working accurately

    Qualifications

  •     High level experience with Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Adobe.
  •     Show a working knowledge of:
    o    Excel (Formula's, Conditional Formatting, Pivot Tables, Data Filters, Graphs, Freeze panes etc.) 
    o    Outlook (Email functions, Scheduling, filling etc.)
    o    Word (Tables, Formatting)
    o    PowerPoint (Creation, animation) 
    o    Internet Explorer
    o    Abode (PDF's) 
    o    Computer skills Navigation
    o    Experience with Tableau preferred
  •     Show evidence of the following:
    o    Strong organizational skills
    o    Presentation skills and attention to detail
    o    The ability to plan your own work, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines
    o    The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and priorities tasks and workload
