    We have a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Kiewit Talent Development Team.  As a Learning Experience Developer at Kiewit, you will work across departments with subject matter experts and content owners to develop and deliver innovative and interactive courses with a focus on the flow of content and defining the best medium for delivery.

  •     Be confident working across departments with subject matter experts and content owners to deliver innovative and interactive courses with a focus on the flow of content and defining the best medium for delivery.
  •     Build out interactions in a way that allows the learner to easily and intuitively interact with the content.
  •     Conceptually and intuitively know how people learn and what makes an effective learning experience.
  •     Create an environment that facilitates the best learning experience.
  •     Create visually appealing and easy to use interfaces to improve the learning experience.
  •     Develop graphics for instructor-led, virtual-led and online training.
  •     Develop learning offerings in an agile setting that engages large and diverse learning audiences.
  •     Develop learning solutions using tools such as Camtasia, Captivate, Storyline, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
  •     Integrate emerging methods and technologies into learning solutions.
  •     Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology, and tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation.
  •     Provide clear instructions for interactivity.
  •     Record and edit video, audio and screen recording files for learning solutions.
  •     Select colors, images, text styles, and layouts that are professional and convey a specific message.
  •     Upload and configure learning content into the learning management system.
  •     Work with project manager to ensure that projects are on-time and under budget.

  •     Bachelor's degree or knowledge consistent with a degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or related field.
  •     Minimum of 3 years' experience developing training.
  •     Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite of products to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. (ability to create training PPTs, facilitator guides, and learner workbooks)
  •     Demonstrated technical proficiency including rapid course development experience (such as Articulate Storyline 360), video and screencasting experience (such as Camtasia), LMS platform experience (such as SuccessFactors), graphic design experience (such as Adobe Creative Cloud), video production and/or editing experience, as well as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  •     Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
  •     Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively; strong project management skills; can meet and manage multiple deadlines working both independently and on a team; highly detail-oriented.
  •     Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical and effective decision-making.
  •     Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  •     Curiosity; drive for continuous improvement and development of new skills.
  •     5+ Years' Experience Developing Training preferred
  •     Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality preferred
  •     Gamification/Game Design preferred
  •     Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
  •     SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
  •     Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) preferred
  •     Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred
  •     Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. 
  •     Ability to work over 40 hours a week, as needed, to ensure projects are delivered on-time and under budget.
  •     Ability to travel as needed. (Approx. 4 trips per year, 3-5 days per trip, the need may fluctuate depending on schedules and needs.)
