Summary:
The TG SAP Intern, Basis Team, will interact with the team to learn about the role of an SAP Basis Admin in order to work on tasks and other related activities for on-premise and cloud environments. The Intern will learn SAP technical processes and associated tools that are used to respond to system issues and monitor tasks. Activities include; moving transports to production environments, configuring and maintaining SAP printers, monitoring system alerts and communicating status of various applications and servers when problems arise.
Responsibilities:
Follow best practice and team process for validating and moving transports to the production environments
Learn to configure printers for use by SAP applications
Learn how to proactively monitor various applications and servers. Create Service Now tickets when issues are discovered
Assist Basis team in documenting process and troubleshooting guides
Open Service Now Incident and Request tickets for the Basis team and other teams using clear, concise explanations and in a timely manner
Cooperate with team members to provide the best customer experience possible
Participate as an active team member working on various activities within the Basis team
Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Pursuing a college degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task
Learn to communicate effectively while considering the technical level of the audience
Learn to work effectively in a team environment
Learn to analyze and interpret reports and alerts
Desire to learn many different products and tools used by Basis Admins
Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookBonus Points:
Experience with a programming language and Unix OS About Kiewit
