    Position Summary:
    Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Document Control Specialist for the KIE Englewood, Colorado office. Looking for the ideal candidate to perform a variety of tasks related to supporting various construction and perm design teams. The Document Control Specialist should have at least 5 - 10 years' experience in a document control or administrative capacity, be familiar with current technical tools/programs/software, and compliance practices.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, quality check, file, and retrieve electronic construction related documents
  • Process documents on incoming and outgoing transmittals
  • Review and/or quality check technical reports, specifications, drawings, and other documents
  • Identify and use the correct tools, systems, and techniques to index, file, and control documentation
  • Work with multiple contractors, project team members, and project management with the control, distribution, maintenance, and retrieval of project-related documents
  • Work proactively to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Support other team members and the client on document control procedures

    Experience Required:

  • 5- 10 years of full-cycle electronic document control experience, including project close out
  • Construction industry; preferred
  • Working experience with electronic document management software and systems
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, Word, and SharePoint 
  • Effective collaboration and facilitation skills; this is a team-based environment with interaction among team members and the client
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to remain flexible when dealing with changing client requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferred
