    We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our Corporate Tax department, who is self-aware and takes initiative.  As a Senior Tax Accountant at Kiewit, you will be assertive to take on learning activities and grasp developmental opportunities. You must have the ability to build relationships quickly and naturally, as these relationships will bring you the credibility needed to operate as a successful business partner within Kiewit.  This is a great opportunity to step in at an early career level in the private sector with minimal travel and a great work/life balance.

    Location 
    This position is based out of our Kiewit Plaza in Omaha, NE.  This is a corporate office in a professional office setting.

    Responsibilities
    -    Preparation of income tax returns (U.S. federal, state, and international)
    -    Computation of estimated tax payments
    -    Completion of assigned projects 
    -    Monitor tax legislation 
    -    Assist with income tax audits 
    -    Research and analysis of tax issues 

    Qualifications
    -    Bachelors Degree in accounting 
    -    Two to four years of accounting experience (tax experience preferred)
    -    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written 
    -    Proven technical abilities 
    -    Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software) 
    -    Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented 
    -    Willing and able to put in the time required to meet deadlines 
    -    Able to work independently, and as part of a team 
    -    Some travel may be required
