Civil Designer- Advance Work Packaging Department

    Location
    This position will be based out of our Lenexa office, but must be able to travel up to 15% across North America.

    Primary Responsibilities

  •  Check design deliverables and discipline takeoff deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
  •  Review model deliverables for data accuracy and coordinate with other designers to correct deficiencies.
  •  Utilize 3D model software to perform quantity and material takeoff.
  •  Adhere to schedules and work assignments to ensure successful project completion.
  •  Coordinate with other designers and other team members assigned to a project or task, and support work progress and results.

    Qualifications

  •  Knowledge of drafting software including MicroStation, Autodesk, Solidworks, SmartPlant
  •  Design experience or Design-Build/Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) project experience a plus
  •  High level of self-discipline, motivation, and ability to operate in a team environment.
  •  Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  •  Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology (or equivalent) or relevant certification
