The ECM Product Owner intern is responsible for assisting with product planning and technical execution throughout the product lifecycle. The Intern Product Owner will solve business problems by analyzing business needs, understanding requirements, investigating potential solutions, and ensuring the successful launch of new products and features. The ideal individual candidate will be able to facilitate discussions, and take lead in the execution tasks that help the organization provide best in class technology solutions in supporting our business needs.
Responsibilities: Is a Microsoft Cloud App Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the solutions and products offered through the Microsoft Office O365 Platform.
Manage backlogs for multiple products or an entire product category program.
Assist with prioritizing and managing the product backlog for a product release, creating a release plan that is shared with the project team.
Communicate and maintain the product vision with the other stakeholders involved in the process, such as Developers, Testers, UX/UI Designers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts
Participate in the refinement process for a product release, including creation of user stories, UI prototypes, and sprint acceptance criteria.
Has input on final acceptance of delivered solutions to ensure completed work is acceptable and fit for the business
Work cross-functionally and with other product teams to ensure product decisions are in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy.
Create end user training materials and marketing communications regarding products
Serve as a product spokesperson at meetings and event involving internal company stakeholders
Qualifications: Pursing a degree in the field of Information Technology or related discipline
Brings proven expertise of managing Microsoft O365 applications
Interest in a technology-related product management or business role
Interest with agile software development practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
