This position is full-time and year round. This person would be responsible as the Lead Teacher for operating a developmentally appropriate early childhood education classroom in cooperation with other Associates and as a Lab Instructor for the ECE college students . Leads develop and implement the activities for individual and/or groups of children within a specified age range, working within a child care center, classroom, or field environment. Ensuring children's portfolio and other standards are up to date through communication and conferences are met. This person will need to be available to support classrooms and to cover and work with a variety of ages.
Required Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood and experience required.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Specialty licensure/certification is required, as specified by the Iowa DHS Child Care Licensing Regulations.

Physical Demands
Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require lifting average-weight objects up to 60 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, organizational skills, reasoning/analysis, and high degree of interpersonal and communication skills is required.
Salary : $18.00- $20.00 per hour
