Baseball Head Coach

The Head Coach for Baseball will be responsible for initiating various aspects of the program, such as recruiting, planning, coaching, scheduling opponents, training team members, managing and directing the Baseball program. The Head Coach for Baseball is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Iowa Western Community College, the ICCAC and the NJCAA.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years collegiate baseball coaching experience or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a current driver's license and good driving record.

Preferred Qualification

  • Master's Degree
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Collegiate head coaching experience

Physical Demands

· Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction)
· Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid)
· Ability to communicate orally and in writing
· Lifting and carrying
· Reaching
· Climbing
· Walking
· Standing
· Bending
· Stooping
· Ability to do facility set-up by climbing stairs, ladders, and moving moderately heavy equipment

Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience
