Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. .
All welding labs must meet safety regulations. Other duties include, but are not limited to, teaching classroom and laboratory sessions, curriculum development/restructuring, lab oversight and safety activities, student success, student recruitment, and responsibility for materials and supplies. Candidates interviewed may be required to provide a teaching demonstration.
Usage of an online learning management system is required.
Hiring process includes ability to pass a background check, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.

ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and ability to work with diverse populations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use a phone. Some travel, by vehicle, may be required. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving, organizational skills with the teaching and learning process, and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
