Description

Arts Center ushers provide front-line services for guests attending events at the Arts Center. As an usher, you are often the primary contact that our guests have with the Arts Center and your guest interaction will help them form their relationship with the Arts Center. Ushers will be requested to work events on an as-needed basis and will serve in a variety of positions, depending on the nature of the event and what is needed.

Required Qualification

-Ability to follow instructions and attend to tasks for long periods of time.
-Comfortable interacting with people in a polite and friendly manner.
-Tidy, professional appearance.
-Must be punctual and reliable.

Preferred Qualification

Theater or music background.

Physical Demands

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to speak, give directions, and answer questions.
Lifting items up to 20 lbs.
