The primary duties of the Architectural Estimator are to develop, evaluate, compile and present scope and cost data for engineering, and construction project estimates. May lead project estimates and estimate team discipline estimators as required. Will work with the estimate team to establish WBS structures and presentation formats for estimates. Responsible for completeness and accuracy of assigned estimate scopes within defined parameters. Participates in the cost estimate quality control process. Works with lead estimators to assist design staff in maintaining project budgets throughout design progression. Ability to estimate any part or total project, and/or changes to the project. Capable of preparing comprehensive cost estimate reports including laboring, market and job condition factors. May participate in negotiations with contractors and subcontractors as required. Follows and maintains procedures and formats for conducting and presenting estimates.

Minimum 5+ years of experience with an EPC Firm, General Contractor, Engineering and/or Architectural Firm producing estimates in a competitive environment, and assessing cost risks based on contract terms and conditions relative to a cost estimate. Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures necessary for cost management required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Project Scheduler and Timberline.
Qualified candidates will know EPC estimating methods, processes, and procedures, in addition to the estimate types, classifications, and components. Experience with Lump Sum Design Build estimates. Specifically understands detail level estimates and design packages. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

- Structural Steel, Steel Members, Light Gauge Steel
- Building Envelope, Building Skin
- Interior Finishes
- Concrete, Rebar, Foundations,
- Heavy Civil, Excavation, site grading, general site work
- General MEP Estimating
