Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Industrial Section Manager include responsibility for operations of a production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support. This individual will lead industrial projects as a project manager and/or project engineer in addition to management responsibilities. Must have strong technical background in the planning, design, construction services and/or operation of industrial facilities. Will be administratively responsible for the section staff and technical service functions and will coordinate services with other sections. Will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues. See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a pro-active project management system. Implement, monitor and support company policy. Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel. Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams. Other duties will include providing project and task management; conducting difficult to complex process engineering for both projects and proposals; collecting, assimilating, and presenting data in reports, memos and public forums; leading production of design calculations and technical reports; and leading preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of industrial treatment facilities. Experience with design/build is also desirable.  Work cooperatively with Area Manager, National Directors and marketing in regional and national efforts.  Should possess strong communication and listening skills including good leadership and organizational skills. *LI-KY1

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications

BSCE required; MSCE Preferred. 
PE in Pennsylvania required. 
10+ years of management experience including industrial process engineering specific experience.
Successful record in Marketing and Business development
Software knowledge should include Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage staff.
