Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is looking for a Lighting Designer to join their team in Princeton, NJ. The primary role of the Lighting Designer is to assist Project Lighting Designers. Responsibilities include CAD/ Model production, design support, rendering and presentation development, report research and photometric, energy and economic calculations. The designer will also provide lighting design for small projects. Additional responsibilities include library / vendor management.
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Interior Design is required.
Previous internship beneficial
EIT or ability to obtain
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm a plus.
Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
Strong preference given to local candidates.
