Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Water Resources/Power Designer / EIT well count on you to work with a project manager in the application of engineering techniques in the development of calculations and reports to assist clients in the power, water and industrial markets to meet regulatory requirements related to the Clean Water Act 316 (a) and (b) for their facilities. The Water Resources / Power Engineer will assist in data collection, the preparation of reports and permit applications associated with the following:

CWA 316a/b compliance.
Intake structure evaluations and design.
Permitting - NPDES, SRBC dockets, and DRBC dockets.
Municipal water and wastewater treatment design, conveyance system evaluations, cost estimating.
Industrial wastewater treatment conceptual and detailed design; treatment system evaluations.

Successful candidates will work in collaboration with our current senior staff or independently, as appropriate, in the performance of the above tasks. Candidate needs to possess a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering. Will in addition perform other duties as needed.





BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline is required.
Water resources internship experience a plus, but not required.
EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to complete tasks.
Strong preference will be given to local candidates.
The successful candidate will be articulate and have solid decision-making and organization skills.
