We have an exceptional opportunity for a Sr. Civil Engineer with the technical skills and desire to join our growing ASMEC business group.
Based in our Phoenix office, the Sr. Civil Engineer will act as the engineer of record on a wide variety of site civil engineering projects. They will plan, organize, and supervise the work of a medium to large team of professionals and technicians. Design work includes plan production, site layouts, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, stormwater, specifications, permitting, coordinating engineering activities with other disciplines, and other associated civil engineering activities. The candidate will perform quality control reviews for other civil engineers. The candidate will be required to perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures. They may serve as a Project Manager on certain projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position. They may also perform other duties as needed, including approval of staff time/expense reports, workload coordination, internal marketing, project budget monitoring, quality control procedures, and performance reviews. The candidate should be able to to coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
